Prof. Dr. Adel Alhazzani is a Neurology Professor at King Saud University and Consultant Neurologist at King Khalid Hospital, Riyadh. He’s the past president of Saudi Stroke Society, Secretary General of Saudi Neurology Society, and a member of various boards including National Stroke Clinical advisory group. He earned his MB and BS with honors in 2001, completed residencies at McGill University, and obtained fellowship from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada. He furthered his education with vascular neurology and interventional neuroradiology fellowships at Harvard University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Executive Leadership in Healthcare Management from Harvard. His interests include stroke therapy, young stroke, migraine, and medical education. He’s authored 90+ articles and contributes to numerous national and international professional organizations and advisory boards.

Dr. Soliman continued her academic journey by obtaining a Master’s degree in Neurology and Psychiatry from Cairo University in 1996, achieving a commendable grade. Building upon her expertise, she completed her Ph.D. in Neurology from Cairo University in 2001. Recognized for her contributions to the field, Dr. Soliman was appointed as a Professor of Neurology at Beni Suef University in 2011. Concurrently, she assumed leadership responsibilities as the Head of the Neurology Department, a role she has effectively fulfilled since 2011.

Dr. Magdy El-Said is a renowned neurologist with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience. He graduated from Zagazig University Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Neurology and Psychiatry in 1994, followed by a Medical Doctorate degree in Neurology in 2002. Dr. El-Sayed has held various academic positions at Zagazig University, starting as a Resident in 1991 and eventually becoming a full Professor of Neurology in 2012. Dr. El-Sayed has published over ten international publications and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the field of neurology. Over the past years supervised the Ain Shams University RESQ and SITS sites and is the local coordinator for the EGASU SITS site and RESQ.
Regularly with the support of the Angels initiative, trained different members of stroke units in Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq on applying for WSO – RESQ awards through virtual sessions.
